Time moves so fast, even more so when you have children. At first, your due date seems so far away and you ache to meet your beautiful baby, then before you know it, they are here in your arms. Your wriggly, cute little bump will seem so long ago! We freeze those moments for you and give you photographs to treasure forever. These pictures will go on to be treasured by your baby and future generations you won’t even get to meet! What a legacy to leave them, stunning pictures of their heritage.

That pregnancy glow that everyone always talks about isn’t often the reality of how you actually feel when pregnant. I certainly wasn’t a ‘Glower’, more a “Grower’. Swollen and round all over with all four babies, I got bigger with each one! I ached and hobbled, however, I absolutely love the very few pictures I have of me pregnant and am heartbroken I didn’t celebrate those beautiful babies growing inside me, instead, I felt fat and hid away from the camera. When I look back at those pictures now, all I see is the beautiful bump, my baby!
Our bodies are amazing and we should be grateful for every inch of them and for blessing us with babies, stretch marks and all.
My job is to make you feel and look amazing…and I promise you that you will glow and your maternity photography session will be something you celebrate.
What to expect at a Maternity & Bump photography session, Market Harborough
At your maternity photography session, the photographer will guide you through all the poses so you don’t need to worry about not knowing what to do. The poses will accentuate your bump and position you in the most flattering way for your shape. Everyone is unique so the shoot will be tailored exactly to you. We have a selection of maternity gowns to choose from, you are also more than welcome to bring your own.
Maternity photoshoots can be held in our studio in Middleton, nr Market Harborough, Leicestershire or can be outdoor for a more natural setting. We are lucky enough to be located next door to the beautiful East Carlton countryside park.
Partners and older siblings are more than welcome to join you in the shoot for family photos.
When is the best time to do a Maternity Photography session?
The recommended time to do a maternity shoot is around 30-35 weeks. Your bump will be a fabulous size and you should still be comfortable enough in your pregnancy to enjoy the shoot. However, the shoot can be done whenever you feel happy to do this. We have shot maternity pictures days before due dates, so don’t worry if you think you have left it too late!

What to wear to your Maternity & Bump shoot?
We have a selection of stunning maternity gowns in the studio for you to choose from, along with props and backgrounds.
Partners and children are welcome to get involved in the shoots. We recommend neutral clothing without branding or heavy patterning so as not to date the photos or to clash. Our aim is to make timeless portraits that you will cherish for years.
When is the best time to book a Maternity photography session?
We recommend that you book early to guarantee that we will have a space before your baby’s arrival date. Most book after their scan 12 or 20 week scan. We do sometimes have last minute availability, so please contact us directly and we will do our best to fit you in.
Maternity & Bump Photography session Pricing
After the session you will be invited back to our studio to view your final gallery of around 20 fully edited beautiful images of your session. It is at this point that you may decide which package you may wish to purchase. At Daisy Dots we don’t charge a session fee and you are under no obligation to purchase any package or single image should you not wish to do so. Effectively the shoot itself is free.
Should you wish to purchase just a few images or prints rather than a package, we do have a minimum order of £299 due to the time involved in editing and processing of these. There is a £99 refundable deposit required at time of booking to secure your space. This will be deducted from your final order. To check out our wall art click HERE
