Back in November, these pair of super smilers got married and I have never seen so many happy, cheesy grins!  Their love for each other was so evident and not once did their smiles leave their faces!  When Amy and Stuart first came to meet me at my studio, we got on instantly.  I knew they were going to be laid back and fun…and they totally were!

When I arrived at Crockwell Farm in Eydon, Daventry the wind was howling and the rain was pelting down, I didn’t think we would be getting many shots outside…but someone was looking down on the Stedmans as it turned out to be the perfect Autumn day!  The rose gold colour theme fitted perfectly and the pumpkins looked amazing!  The sun even came out for pictures, confetti and sparklers!

From the second I arrived in the cottage where Amy was getting ready, the smell was divine….I have to publicly thank Amy for intensifying my expensive Jo Malone obsession…I think Amy’s stash of candles and lotions probably cost near on the price of the wedding 😉 I’m not sure if it was Jo Malone or the Prosecco but Amy was the most laid back bride ever and we had a lovely morning.  The candle in the ceremony room was a really lovely touch and made the room smell amazing, such a good idea!

When Stu arrived, he was just as calm, maybe something to do with his totally cool outfit and the fact that he was wearing Puma trainers…definitely the way forward!  The nerves did start to show whilst waiting for Amy to walk down the aisle, I love this point at weddings, even the calmest Grooms start to crumble at the anticipation!  The tears started for Stu the moment he clapped eyes on his stunning wife to be and tissues came out!  Amy had the biggest grin on her face all the way to Stu and it never left her face…it was completely infectious and I didn’t stop smiling the whole way through either!

After the ceremony, Stu & Amy walked through a tonne of confetti and then it was some quick family portraits before the drinks started flowing! The party was quickly into full flow and the room was constant laughter.  This carried on during the speeches, mainly at Stu’s expense…thanks to his brother’s slideshow of pictures…mainly of Stu in his pants!  After the speeches, we had fun with sparklers and then it was time to really party!

Stu & Amy surprised their guests with a hidden dance floor and a band.  Amy’s poor father was panicking there was no dance floor and kept trying to organise tables to make space for the first dance…then suddenly the curtains went back and there they were!  Minutes later the dance floor went from romantic first dance to nightclub as the guests joined in…I loved all the dance moves and dancing my way through the crowds to get some amazing pictures!

A fab autumn wedding for a fab couple…well done Mr & Mrs Stedman!
