Pet Photographer – Leicestershire

Our pet-friendly photography studio is ideally located near Market Harborough in Leicestershire.  We have the luxury of being able to offer pet photography in the studio or outside in the beautiful country parks all around us.  We have photographed many pets, from cats and dogs to horses… in fact, we are happy to photograph any other pets you have!

Animals aren’t just pets, they are your family members and therefore deserve to adorn your walls with beautiful portraits.  We specialise in capturing your furbaby’s unique personality and creating memories that will last forever.

Being an animal lover and having a very crazy two-year-old cocker spaniel puppy, Stitch, we love having pets in the studio.  They say never to work with children or animals, but often we work with both on the same shoot and love it.  However, I will say the same doesn’t go for photographing my own children and puppy…they behave for everyone else except me!  I was a frazzled mess by the time we had finished!

Most people are very nervous about booking a shoot as they think their pet will not sit still or will show them up, don’t worry… they can’t be worse than Stitch!  Dogs will go to the toilet, they will run around.  We expect it and we are geared up for it!  We never try to force an animal to pose (nor a child) there is no point and actually, you don’t get their real character then.  We let them play about and have plenty of treats on hand to get some beautiful photos to treasure forever.

Why should I photograph my pets?

Pets are our family members and let’s face it, they are usually the most excited to see you come home!  We should celebrate their lives and capture their cheeky personalities for generations to come.  As soon as your little furry friend enters your life they fill a hole you didn’t even realise was there.

We can all remember our first pets and their legacy should live on forever, like everyone else in the family.  With our unique, funny and beautiful photography pet portraits, those happy memories can live with you forever.

When is the best time to do a pet photoshoot?

Pet portraits can be done whenever you like.  We capture lots of puppy photoshoots to capture those first fun-filled cute months …not to mention exhausting ‘He is cute but what have I done’ months (maybe that was just me!)

You can book a shoot to commemorate birthdays (yes, we actually do Doggy cake smash photography sessions!) or simply a session just to highlight how adorable your furry friend is and what a good girl/boy they are!

Should I book an outdoor pet photography session or a studio session?

This is entirely up to the type of pictures you would like. A studio pet portrait session is done with a choice of backdrops and we have props that you are welcome to use.  Our studio is set up for pets with plenty of space for them to explore and sniff around.

We are handily located next to East Carlton Park in Leicestershire.  With beautiful woodlands and fields around us, you are spoilt for choice.  We are also happy to travel to  outdoor locations that are special to you (Charges may apply if outside a 15 mile radius)

Do you cover end of life pet photography sessions?

Yes.  The loss of a furbaby is heart-wrenching and we fully empathise with anyone facing this.  We specialise in capturing those connections and bonds between you and your pet.  We can come to your home or garden if your pet is unable to come to the studio.

Pet Photography Pricing

After the session, you will be invited back to our studio to view your final gallery of around 20 fully edited beautiful images of your session.  It is at this point that you may decide which package you may wish to purchase.  At Daisy Dots, we don’t charge a session fee and you are under no obligation to purchase any package or single image should you not wish to do so. 

Effectively the shoot itself is free.  Should you wish to purchase just a few images or prints rather than a package, we do have a minimum order of £199 due to the time involved in editing and processing these. There is a £50 refundable retainer required at the time of booking to secure your space.  This will be deducted from your final order.
